In AF36 (July 1992), the Paint Pot 2 coverdisk instructions page contained a heading saying "Type some shit in here please".
An apology was printed on the letters page 213 of AF37 along with a replacement heading that could be cut out and sellotaped over the original. (This would also destroy several letters on the following page). A designer was blamed for typing an instruction to the writer to fill in a heading which had been omitted. The mistake was found too late to correct it. It was particularly unfortunate that the swearing occurred on a page aimed at younger readers! |
