Amiga Power had a policy from day one of never reviewing unfinished games. It came as a shock to many that they reviewed 3 incomplete games in 3 consecutive issues at the end of 1994.
In AP42 Jonathan Nash reviewed Super Stardust based on 3 levels of 5 being complete. The game was awarded 89%.
Then in AP43 Jonathan Davies reviewed Pinball Illusions. The publisher 21st Century said only the Law and Justice table was finished. The other 2 tables had about half their features still to be added. The game was awarded 89%.
Finally in AP44 Jonathan Davies reviewed Sensible World of Soccer. He skated around many problems after being assured they would be fixed for the final release. The game was awarded 95% but the review led to a flood of complaints about bugs in the game.
